PPW Heavyweight Champion Sanders will put his championship on the line, and his opponent will be decided by his manager, Pollo Del Mar. This is the second time that Del Mar is choosing who Sanders will defend his championship against, and the first time Sanders' opponent was Cliff Hendrix, who was a true test for the PPW Heavyweight Champion. Fans now eagerly await who Sanders' next opponent will be, and the possibilities are endless. Will it be a former holder of the PPW Heavyweight Championship? Del Mar has appeared in the NWA, Game Changer Wrestling, and many other promotions in the United States- will it be a wrestler who has appeared in one of those promotions as well? Will it be a competitor from overseas, wanting to make an impact on the American wrestling scene? On September 20th, we will find out.
The PPW Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line, when current champion Kenny K defends it against former champion Daniel Torch. They have been opponents many times for at least the past eight years, but for the first time ever, they will face each other in a "Ladder" match! The physical demands of this type of match and the executed strategies will increase the excitement of a Kenny K/Daniel Torch encounter, making it a unique and very memorable experience for both the fans and the opponents.
Money Power Re$pect (with Pollo Del Mar in their corner), will put the PPW Tag Team Championship on the line when they step into the ring with AC/OC, the new team of Andrew Cass and OC Hayes. While Money Power ReSpect are tag team specialists and have been working together for many years, AC/OC will be bringing unexpected team moves and combinations that may be enough to disrupt the rhythm of the tag team champions.
M4 and Duke Lawrence will clash in a match that will be a good opportunity for both men to show why they think they should advance in the Phoenix Pro Wrestling singles division.
In tag team action, The New Faces of Death will make their debut as a tag team when they go against the experience of The Honor Society.
With Midas Kreed boasting a resume that includes appearances in many promotions including AEW, and Drake Frost being a seasoned veteran of the ring with almost two decades of experience under his belt, both men can argue that they have earned a place in the main event scene of Phoenix Pro Wrestling. They will compete on September 20th at The Phoenix Theater, and the outcome of the match may decide who gets a shot at the PPW Heavyweight Championship in the near future.
There will also be women's wrestling action on the card, as Mighty Mayra (who has appeared in AEW) and Vanessa Craft face off.
