Yanagase Pro Wrestling always gives opportunities to wrestlers who are early in their careers, and one of the latest wrestlers to receive that opportunity is Convoy Nishio, a talent who is from YPW's homebase of Gifu and has focus and a hunger to prove himself.
Convoy Nishio has sought to make his mark ever since his career began in 2021, as Nishio faced top talents such as former WWE Superstar KENSO and former DDT Extreme Champion Shinya Aoki. Equally comfortable on the mat and in the air, Nishio also seeks to improve himself as a well-rounded wrestler, which is what led to him participating in a wrestling class in 2023 that was hosted by ZERO1 star Yasu Kubota at SPORTS BAR M's Cafe, the home venue of Yanagase Pro Wrestling. Nishio began making appearances in YPW that same year, the first being a tag team match in which Kubota was one of his opponents.
Yanagase Pro Wrestling fans were impressed by Convoy Nishio's athletic ability. His moveset includes a swanton bomb, which Nishio has used often throughout his career. Having only three years of experience yet being able to perform such a high-risk maneuver with control and precision provides a glimpse of Nishio's potential, his limited match experience overshadowed by his great physical skills.
After a Yanagase Pro Wrestling match in April 2024, Convoy Nishio requested to be added to YPW's roster, and he was accepted. Nishio made his debut as a member of the YPW roster the next month.
Like all of the other members of the Yanagase Pro Wrestling roster, Convoy Nishio will be an asset. And YPW will be a perfect platform for him, with their shows being broadcast on TwitCasting, a livestreaming service based in Japan that has over 33 million registered users worldwide, as Nishio becomes a mainstay in the promotion and helps YPW continue to have a positive impact on the Gifu community.
