Existing since 1993, Michinoku Pro was created with Iwate in mind, so many events in Iwate feature matches that are not seen anywhere else in the country. And Michinoku Pro's July 21 event (1:00 PM start time) at Yahaba Town Citizens General Gymnasium will be a very special one, as it will feature Fukumen World League tournament participation matches.
Taro Nohashi and GAINA have been very successful as a tag team, going as far as making history by becoming the first Tohoku, UWA World, Kyushu Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Tag Champions in pro-wrestling history. However, they are also very accomplished singles wrestlers, with both Nohashi and GAINA being former
Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champions. On July 21, these two tag team partners will face off one-on-one to decide which one of them will qualify for the opportunity to participate in Fukumen World League 7 in October.
And speaking of tag team partners, the other Fukumen World League tournament participation match will involve the current Tohoku Tag Team Champions, Rasse and Ringo Yamaya. Although they proved their effectiveness as a team in March when they won the championship, the two tag team champions will be using their skills against each other on July 21, as Rasse's strength will clash with Yamaya's fighting spirit.
The rest of the card will be announced in the near future, but it's already clear that this will be a significant event having implications for Fukumen World League 7! Tickets are available at Lawson Ticket, Ticket Pia, e +, and via Michinoku Pro Wrestling Telephone Reservation- 019 (687) 2431.
