[Michinoku Pro][UPDATE] Former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion added to the 9/10/21 Korakuen Hall event!

Shiryu was recently identified as being in close contact with someone who contracted the coronavirus. He was scheduled to be at the Great Sasuke 31st Anniversary Tournament on September 10 at the Korakuen Hall (6:30pm) in six-man tag team action. His replacement will be the first-ever WWE Light Heavyweight Champion in history- TAKA Michinoku.

TAKA Michinoku's participation is very appropriate. He will team with Dick Togo and MENS Teioh against The Great Sasuke, Jinsei Shinzaki, and Super Delfin. In the 90's, TAKA and his partners were members of Michinoku Pro's first rulebreaker faction, Kaientai ☆ DX. Together they feuded with The Great Sasuke and other fan favorites in the company. This match will be a renewal of that feud.
