Pro Wrestling ZERO1 USA 6/23/24 SLIDERZ SHOWDOWN: ROUND TWO Event! Two Championships on the Line!

The Illinois-based Pro Wrestling ZERO1 USA and The Prodigy Project will be presenting SLIDERZ SHOWDOWN: ROUND TWO on Sunday, June 23rd at Sliderz Bar & Grill (5983 US-36, Decatur, IL 62521) with a 5:00pm starting time. The Prodigy Project donates to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and when it and ZERO1 USA co-presented the inaugural Sliderz Showdown event last year, $3,882.58 was raised. ZERO1 USA and The Prodigy Project's goal for this year's family friendly event will be to raise even more.

ZERO1 USA Heavyweight Champion Mad Dog Connelly will be defending his championship against Kenny Kalix, and expect this match to feature a battle of stiff strikes, in what essentially will be a match between student and teacher.

Kenny Kalix takes great pride in his striking ability, claiming that in a striking contest, he will always be the winner.

However, Mad Dog Connelly is the man who taught Kenny Kalix how to strike. While Kenny Kalix plans on winning the ZERO1 USA Heavyweight Championship at SLIDERZ SHOWDOWN: ROUND TWO and showing why he claims to be the top prospect in pro-wrestling, Connelly intends to show Kalix why he's the Champion in the first place.

Earlier this year Chris Cutler was crowned the inaugural MadBash Wrestling Champion. In his second defense of the championship, Cutler will face co-holder of the ZERO1 USA Tag Team Championship, The Luminary Jaques Kennedy.

Tickets can be purchased here.

ZERO1 USA is the American affiliate of the Japan-based Pro Wrestling ZERO1. ZERO1 USA was founded in the 2000's, and has represented the ZERO1 brand since 2012. Providing a platform for wrestlers who frequent the Midwestern United States, they have their own set of championships: ZERO1 USA Heavyweight Championship, ZERO1 USA Tag Team Championship, ZERO1 USA World Junior Heavyweight Championship, and ZERO1 Shining Light Championship.

It was in March 2001 that Shinya Hashimoto and Shinjiro Otani presented the very first ZERO1 event in Japan, at Ryogoku Kokugikan in front of 11,000 fans, and live nationally on SKY PerfecTV! via satellite. Over two decades later, ZERO1 continues to host events regularly, presenting its strong style brand of wrestling.
